new label targets for 2009

I’ve been writing a lot of music lately
which is good news
to some of you
i see the rest of you in the back shaking your heads in disapproval
“not another proem record! when will he stop!?!”

NEVER!

or until i don’t feel like it anymore

have no fear haters!
that day might not be far off
though at least not until i hit 10 full lengths
yeah
3 releases to go
you can hardly wait…

(insert thick uncomfortable silence)

moving on…

Now that I’ve got enough material for another record
(that would make it #8, ambient record being #7)….

i decided i’d share the list i put together of labels
that might make excellent new homes for equally new material

they are as follows:

• planet-mu
• hymen
• ghostly international
• type
• city centre offices
• sending orbs

let the demoing begin!

by no means does this list mean that my relationship with n5md has come to a shocking close.
unless of course
after this post
they decide not to have me anymore

to clarify
the mission this year is to replace the hole in my release “schedule” left by merck closing down.

  No! Not type or sending orbs! Type think too much of themselves and I don’t like them at all. I hope you can find a label with a welcoming attitude, just like Merck has been. He always made/makes you feel welcome. Type just brushes you off as yet another mortal knocking on their golden doors.
