the slayer project

a quick word
on a project
involving three of the best slayer records

• reign in blood
• south of heaven
• seasons of the abyss

the end result is to have a series of sample sets
and screen shots documenting the process
so far active participants
are myself
and zack “deceptikon” wright

both of us are slayer fans
(they have long been my only guilty musical pleasure)
so this should be really fun
and provide some interesting results

we have talked about a few concept pieces and tactics
also perhaps handing the sample packs
to some other musician types [closet slayer fans]
in hopes to get a remix/mashup thing going

right now
we are in phase one
which is
cutting samples
a daunting task
the south of heaven record alone
has 112 samples that ive cut out myself

regardless
once enough has been done
i will more than likely create a section here
dedicated entirely to this project
