I’ve been buried in the middle of work
and working on the record art
figured id share the source material before i unveil the finished piece
the original 8×11 scans were done at 600dpi
and actually look a bit more vibrant than the hardcopies
(yay for 50$ scanners)
the design file with all of these paintings stitched together is a whopping 849mb
measures at 24 × 29 (300dpi)
thats inches not feet
should make a nice sized print
the cd art has to be greyscale at the labels request
however
who says the full sized print cant be in color?
and it most certainly will be recolored digitally by me
before going to print
but enough about that already
lets get to the paintings shall we?

I love them.
My favorite is the 4th one in the order there, what sort of looks a nightmareish tree. Would gladly buy a poster of any one of those.
Feels like some darker Proem stuff is coming, can’t wait.
